The rooms at Payande-Tatacoa were amazing! They had a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a balcony with a beautiful garden view. The best part was the comfy seating area where I could relax after a long day of exploring. It felt like a home away from home.

I personally found the tiled/marble floor in the double room a bit cold. But hey, that's just my opinion.

The hotel was conveniently located near the famous Penon de Constantino and we were able to use the swimming pool there for free. Additionally, the hotel offered the option to have lunch and dinner at Penon, giving us access to all their facilities. We enjoyed the quietness of our hotel while still having the amenities of the fully booked Penon. Another advantage was the nearby small patch of red desert, which offered a taste of the desert experience without having to do a full desert tour.

Two major downsides were the lack of air conditioning in the cabins, making the heat unbearable, and the presence of mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were relentless and made it difficult to enjoy activities such as walking, eating, and taking pictures.
